Hi, I’m Craig Murphy and I am the owner of CPM Detailing. With over 15 years of experience in the construction and AutoCAD industry, I detail and estimate take off for projects of all sizes.

PROJECT DRAUGHTSPERSON & ESTIMATOR
Marie joined CPM Detailing as a trainee draughtsperson, converting new projects and detailing the relevant decking requirements. She now is more involved the estimating side of things, by spending time analysing upcoming projects and providing the material quantities needed to complete the job. This said, she still helps out with detailing the decking from time to time. A valued member of the team!

AutoCAD Technician
Having left college in 2007, I joined the Construction industry as a Trainee AutoCAD technician, specifically training in the detailing of metal floor decking. I then went on to train in the Estimating department. This role included the production of take offs, pricing multi-million pound projects and liaising with clients over cost analysis. Alongside this, I also completed an Architectural HNC course at Bournemouth and Poole College.
Estimating, Commercial & Contracts Manager
Following this, I continued in the Construction Industry but working with a steelwork company, where I had a variety of roles including; Estimating Manager, Commercial Manager and Contracts Manager. This role helped me to get a better understanding of the industry in general and what is involved in the early stages of any building project. I was also involved a lot more at site level which meant a lot more work in liaising with clients and overcoming certain challenges that every Construction project provides.
CPM Detailing is born!
I then came back to the metal decking industry and have been pricing and detailing metal floor decking and roof decking ever since. In 2018 I set up CPM Detailing, which has been going from strength to strength ever since.
